Facial oils are great for hydrating the skin so they are particularly great for this time of year when the weather is drying.
They can actually be suitable for all types of skin and yes, that includes oily skin.
Facial oils are botanical oils and work to rebalance and normalize the skin. The effect of the oil is to plump up the skin and it absorbs other products which block the pores.
There are a lot of products on the market but you can make your own natural facial oil. You can try the following recipe and apply it at night over the neck and face. You should notice a difference with a couple of weeks.
Recipe for Handmade Facial Oil
2 tablespoons grapeseed oil which is renowned for helping with oily skin problems
10 drops of juniper essential oil
1.5 drops essential petitgrain oil
5 drops of frankincense essential oil
5 drops of marjoram essential oil
10 drops of lemon essential oil
