Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations
In compliance with the EU Distance Selling Directive retail customers (excludes wholesale) may cancel or exchange their order contract by returning the order to Mel’s Little Luxuries within 7 days from the receipt of goods, in their original condition and fit for re-sale. We will then refund the full value of the goods less the original delivery charges, as soon as possible and no longer than 30 days from the date of purchase. However, for hygiene reasons, we are not able to refund or exchange toiletries after purchase.
All return postage is the responsibility of the purchaser and Mel’s Little Luxuries do not accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit to us. Exchanges: Simply return your purchases to Mel’s Little Luxuries within 7 days of receipt, and we will despatch replacement goods. A re-delivery charge (at our standard rates) will apply. Mel’s Little Luxuries reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange if the goods are believed to have been damaged, or are not in their original condition. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your Statutory Rights.
Lost or Damage Goods
Please inspect your order immediately on delivery and contact Mel’s Little Luxuries within 48 hours if the goods you receive are damaged or incorrect so that we can immediately address the problem and notify our carrier if necessary. For retail customers, in the case of non-delivery, please wait for 14 days from the date of your order in case your order has been delayed.
Mel’s Little Luxuries reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.
Payment / Data Protection / Secure selling
Security and protection is our priority. Your payment will therefore be processed by PayPal. In accordance with the UK Data Protection ACT your details will not be disclosed in any way to a third party, all details will remain strictly private.
General Product Information
Please read the product information on the label of each product. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the ingredients, please contact Mel’s Little Luxuries and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
If you are prone to skin allergies, Mel’s Little Luxuries suggest that you do a test patch before using a product. If you have any medical concerns about using our products, some of which contain essential oils that should not be used when pregnant, lactating or with certain medical conditions, please consult your medical practitioner. Essential oils should not be used under the age of 6.
Mel’s Little Luxuries reserve the right to change the appearance, packaging, and scent, or withdraw any products at any time.
Storage: products should be kept in their original packaging and stored away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures such as a radiator, window or open door as some products can fade, deteriorate or sweat if left in direct light or heat. As products are handmade and hand cut, slight variations in colour, size or scent may occur between batches.
At present Mel’s Little Luxuries only sell within the United Kingdom.
We use Royal Mail 'Signed for' service to deliver to United Kingdom and Europe. The standard shipping rate to mainland UK is £4.50. Orders over £50 are delivered free of charge.
If you are not in at the address to receive the order, you will be left a deliver card, you will then need to make arrangements with your local post office to collect the item or have it redelivered at a convenient time.
Please note that if you are not at home at the time of delivery and you fail to collect the item from the local post office, it will be returned to us. In these circumstances, the cost of shipping will not be refunded and further costs will be incurred by you to resend your parcel.
When your order has been dispatched we will send you an email confirming dispatch. Any problems with your delivery please contact us by email firstname.lastname@example.org
We try to get your order out to you within 2-3 working days, and on most occasions it is a next day delivery. If you have an urgent order, please give us a call and we will let you know if we can deliver it on time for you.
