CHRISTMAS WITHOUT THE CHAOS

A Mel's Little Luxuries Wellbeing Morning

Making Christmas magical for everyone else, but who's looking after you?

Christmas is supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year.

So why does it sometimes feel like you've taken on a second full time job?

Presents to buy.

Food to organise.

People to see.

Things to remember.

Cards. Wrapping. Deliveries. Christmas parties. Family arrangements.

And that one person who helpfully announces on the 23rd December

“Have we got everything for Christmas?”

WE?!

If you're usually the person making sure Christmas happens for everybody else, Christmas Without the Chaos has been created with you in mind.

This is your permission to step away from the Christmas lists for a couple of hours and remember something rather important:

Christmas is for you too.

THIS ISN'T ABOUT CREATING THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS

Quite the opposite.

We're taking some of the pressure OFF.

During this relaxed morning, we're going to look at the expectations we pile onto ourselves at Christmas and find simple, realistic ways to make December feel a little less frantic and a lot more enjoyable.

We'll explore:

Taking the pressure off Christmas perfection

What really matters to you this Christmas? What are you doing simply because you've always done it? And does everything genuinely need to be done?

Creating little pockets of time for yourself

Not a three day spa retreat in the Maldives. Although nobody's saying no.

We're talking about small, realistic moments you can protect during a very busy month.

Festive scents and calming rituals

We'll explore beautiful seasonal aromas and simple sensory rituals you can use to create moments of calm and enjoyment at home.

Switching off when the Christmas list follows you to bed

Simple ways to create a little separation between doing, organising and actually resting.

Saying no, asking for help and sharing the load

Because being capable doesn't mean you have to do everything yourself.

📝 YOUR CHRISTMAS SANITY PLAN

Yes. We're actually making one. 😂

This isn't another enormous Christmas checklist.

It's the opposite.

Your Christmas Sanity Plan will help you decide what you want this Christmas to FEEL like, not just what needs to get done.

We'll look at things such as:

One thing I can let go of.

One thing I can ask somebody else to do.

One thing I'm saying no to.

One thing I genuinely want to make time for.

One little ritual that's just for me.

And perhaps the biggest question:

What would make Christmas feel GOOD for me this year?

Because if you're exhausted and resentful by Christmas Day, something has gone slightly wrong with the plan.

CREATE YOUR OWN FESTIVE WELLBEING BLEND

We're bringing Christmas into the room through scent too.

You'll explore seasonal aromas and create your own festive wellbeing blend to take home.

The idea isn't to give you another thing to remember to use.

Your blend becomes your little December cue:

Stop. Breathe. Come back to the moment.

Perhaps you use it before heading out Christmas shopping.

Perhaps it's part of your evening switch-off.

Perhaps you reach for it when everybody suddenly needs something from you at exactly the same time.

We'll explore how you can make scent part of your own Christmas ritual.

WHO IS CHRISTMAS WITHOUT THE CHAOS FOR?

This morning has your name on it if:

• You usually carry most of the Christmas mental load

• Your December diary already makes you want to lie down

• You put enormous pressure on yourself to make Christmas lovely for everybody

• You find it difficult to say no or ask other people to help

• You reach Christmas feeling exhausted rather than excited

• You'd love to enjoy the build-up instead of constantly thinking about the next thing on the list

• You'd quite like two hours where nobody asks you where the Sellotape is

You don't need to be stressed out or at breaking point to come.

You might simply want to make this Christmas feel different.

WHAT WILL YOU LEAVE WITH?

My aim isn't to send you home ready to organise Christmas more efficiently.

It's to help you decide what deserves your energy in the first place.

You'll leave with:

  • Your own Christmas Sanity Plan
  • A festive wellbeing blend you've created yourself
  • Simple ideas for protecting little pockets of time for you
  • Practical ways to reduce some of the pressure you've been putting on yourself
  • Permission to enjoy Christmas rather than simply deliver it

And hopefully you'll have laughed, chatted and enjoyed a couple of hours with a small group of lovely women too.
